Quantitative Trader

Are you at the intersection of software engineering, quantitative analysis, and blockchain technology? RockawayX is on the hunt for a Quantitative Software Engineer who thrives in the fast-paced world of blockchain. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with creating innovative algorithms, analyzing complex data from blockchain networks, and research software that shapes the future of decentralized finance.

Location:
Prague (remote possible)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize blockchain-based trading algorithms and financial models
  • Incorporate quantitative strategies into investments
  • Conduct thorough market analysis and backtesting to validate and refine trading algorithms
  • Enhance and monitor current risk management strategies, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for new initiative
  • Initially work with the RockawayX Credit Fund and Labs team on strategy development, then build and lead your own trading team

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Solidity, Python, C++, Rust or Java
  • Experience with statistical modeling and financial theories
  • (Plus) Deep understanding of cryptographic principles, consensus algorithms, and smart contracts
  • (Plus) Experience within the blockchain space
